Where my journey to Korea began...

I was a high school student back in 2018, I was 17 years old. I always wanted to study abroad but I didn’t know how or where to go specifically, so I started to research. I’ve always had a great respect for cultures around the world so I tried to go somewhere that the culture is totally different than mine. I decided to check about South Korea. Therefore, I also started to question the next thing: Why do I want to do it on the other side of the world? After all the research, my conclusion was: “one of the main factors is the level of education, Korea’s education has the highest rank in education and in most universities.”

I chose South Korea because companies are very strong, specifically talking about the entertainment industry and the wide variety of manufacturers of various products, emphasizing control of technology and new resources in general. South Korea to me is very interesting in culture in general, due to the strong development of marketing strategies throughout a country and the positive global impact. With the globalization of powerful industries such as KIA, Samsung, LG, Hyundai, etc. Korean business culture has been leading the market for years. Its market research is very precise and its application is very powerful at home and abroad. This is only a part of what made me choose South Korea before any other country in the world. I like the challenges of this magnitude, because I can prove to myself that I can achieve everything I want to do if I keep moving forward, even if I have to sacrifice a little, because I always fight for what I want to achieve. There were obviously MANY doubts, concerns but also positive thoughts about going abroad. Since it was the first time that I would travel alone and abroad. This was a big challenge for me: new culture, food, new people, new education system, new environment…

After that, my main core thought was: “As long as you really understand who you are or are in that process, you can learn thousands of new things. Respecting everyone's cultures and tastes is what makes you mature in every way.”

There’s no other way around… I want to walk on that direction.
